Rainbow toenails and hairy feet!

On Friday we had a really great girly night.  Laura and I really get on well, I feel as if I’ve always known her.  I really appreciate her friendship, especially being so far from home.  We pooled our nail colours together so we had rainbow toenails by the time we’d finished. Then we changed into our pyjamas (I wore my best Snoopys and my big hairy feet slippers with pink toenails) and settled to watch the films.  Between us we make great dips!

At about two in the morning we were still up in front of the TV talking away when we heard Dan come home.  I took a blanket to cover up my silly slippers.  We’d had a few glasses of wine but I think Dan was pretty well oiled and he’d brought Charlie with him for a night cap.  Charlie sort of aimed himself to sit next to me and noticed my feet were well hidden under the blanket (cringe).  Laura said in her girly voice” Aren’t you going to show Charlie your slippers?” (some friend)  So Charlie grabbed one of my feet from under the blanket and looked quite horrified at my slipper, he most have been pretty drunk.  “My god, we’ve been invaded!” he said and pulled my slipper off and started to tickle my foot.  I can’t stand that  and pleaded with him to stop at the risk of my wetting myself (that always works!).  Then he spotted my rainbow toenails “Curiouser and curiouser” he said, to which I told him it was a girls night and we could do girly things if we wanted to, much better than watching lap top dancers or whatever they are called.  It was the wine that spoke!  Everyone ended up trying out my slippers, good job they are stretchy.  Dan disappeared and came back with a bottle of Kahlua so it was very, very late when I finally crawled into bed.  Charlie slept on the sofa and I wasn’t up when he left.

  5. Random T: this is a story so the posts were written in advance. I like to entertain my readers. I always write my posts in word so that spelling errors are kept to a minimum.

My other blogs have built up a readership of people who have things in common with me i.e. age, interests, family and so on.

This post has had more visitors than any other I’ve written!
