Thanks to chandni I now have to write a letter as if I was talking to myself a year ago. I can’t really do that here but I can write a letter to Angie!
Dear Angie,
To be honest I couldn’t have written this letter to year ago because you only existed as an idea in my head. It probably wasn’t until March that I started to put you onto paper (well – Word). The year ahead for you meant a complete change of life style, buying your own house and starting a new job. Your soul mate, Charlie was lined up for you and a handful of new friends to support you in times of trouble.
Everything was set, but something strange started to happen. Sometimes you just wouldn’t do as you were told. I began to realise that as you developed your personality I had to let things take a different course from the one I had planned for you. Charlie also caused one or two problems, he was starting to become a little possessive – I soon sorted that out before it took over too much.
Your hairy slippers became popular too!
I’m sure that the next year that we spend together will be full of new twists and surprises – for both of us.
