The only problem with mom, besides being weak from lying in bed for so long was her memory. She was allowed home a few days later. I was made to promise that I would be helpful and more adult in my attitude, dad was going to need all the help he could get. She arrived home a bit like a visitor and looked round like it was all new to her. We showed her around the house. Some things she could remember and some things seemed to come back to her as the evening passed. She went to bed very early looking really exhausted.

Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog yesterday. I appreciate your tip r.e. boiled water and B&S- Thank you very much for that.
I have just started to read your blog today. Its going to take me a while to work out the fiction from the reality or perhaps to align myself with the whole story if this makes sense?
I like the way you write, I’m so out of practise myself and I have enjoyed taking up both alot of reading and refelctive writing again. For years my voice was (and still is) mainly through painting.
Do keep in touch I hope we can share more in future?
If I add you to my blogroll would you consider doing the same for me?
I hope you have a great Thursday whatever your plans and thanks again for your kind help.
Helen
Thanks for yourcomment helen, this blog is completely fictional and running out of steam. Yiou know about my other blogs by now…
I’m in the process of adding you to my blogroll, but I’m having a spot of trouble, which is strange because I’ve got other friends on wordpress. I’ll keep on trying!
There is something weird about Helen’s site, I couldn’t get a link on my blogroll at WordPress or Blogger. I’ve got a link now though via the email update thing she has. Pressing that worked – LoL.
