ExposeYourBlog!: New topic in the forums

There hasn’t been much updating on any of my blogs recently due to internet connection problems. I’m sorry that you’ve had to read the same posts over and over…

A lot of EYB! members are interested in blogging for monetary purposes as well as the pleasure of writing. At the suggestion of DirtyButter I’ve started up a new forum topic ‘Selling Online’. If you have any information or anecdotes you’d like to contribute please pop by. Also, if you have a question about selling online we might be able to help.

I pop into the forums on a regular basis and get rid of spam and ban spammers as quickly as I can. If you see anything at all that is doubtful on the forums you can report it and I’ll zap it the next time I’m there.

Is there anything else you’d like to see in the forums? Please let me know, either here or via a PM.

As Don says in his emails we’re growing slowly and surely. We have some excellent blogs I circulation and there are many more out there. We do need your help to get word out and attract new members. Use a link with your membership number and you can earn even more credits! (Click on ‘Downline’ from the tools page to find a ready made link and banners)

The new forum topic selling online is a great idea. I’ll check it out.

  2. Hello Susan, have we converted you to online selling?

Well I think that being able to use expose your blog for the occasional direct email is a great idea which I will use in the future if I’ve got something I want to sell. I’ve probably lost a bit of excitement about online selling. When you first get on the internet I think I thought it would be quite easy to sell. But it’s actually hard and it takes a lot of time and effort to generate interest etc. In the end I decided selling in the real world is better for me. And you can use your websites for promotion. I have sold a few things by the internet but I’ve sold a lot more in real life exhibitions. The amount of time it would take to generate sales from the internet would be a full time job and I’m not really willing to do it. However I’m not giving up. I’m working on prints that I’m going to sell online in the next few months so we’ll see.
